A wet palette that keeps acrylic paint workable for days instead of drying out on a flat surface. Water soaks up through antibacterial foam into semi-permeable hydro paper, feeding moisture to the paint from below. Close the airtight lid, fasten the elastic band, and the paint stays usable between sessions — the maker says days or even weeks. The Sanitized treatment on the sponges delays mould; replacing foams and paper every six to eight months restores it.

Sprue cutters or a hobby knife — what do I actually need?

Cutters remove parts from the sprue cleanly; the knife trims the leftover nub and mould lines. You'll want both — they do different jobs.
