VALST-TX007 carries Vallejo's second 1/35 wood-grain pattern for airbrushing model surfaces. It is a separate layout from Wood Texture No. 1, allowing different timber areas or projects to use an alternative grain treatment without changing stencil format. The sheet is translucent and flexible for positioning against the work, measures 125 × 125 mm, and is washable for repeated use.

Sprue cutters or a hobby knife — what do I actually need?

Cutters remove parts from the sprue cleanly; the knife trims the leftover nub and mould lines. You'll want both — they do different jobs.

What's the difference between single-blade and double-blade cutters?

Single-blade cutters shear against a flat anvil for an ultra-clean cut with less stress on the plastic; double-blade cutters are tougher for general work.

How do I keep tools in good condition?

Cut plastic only (never metal sprues or wire) with precision cutters, replace knife blades often, and keep files clear with a brass brush.
