Product overview
A water-based polyurethane topcoat that protects finished paintwork with a dead-flat finish. The polyurethane resin forms a harder, more scratch-resistant film than standard acrylic varnish, making it practical for gaming miniatures that are handled often. Ultra matt removes virtually all surface shine, producing the flattest possible appearance — a step below the standard matt varnish in the same range. Useful wherever glare would distract from the painted detail.
- Dries to the touch in one hour; allow 24 hours between coats

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?
Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.
Do I need a primer?
Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
