Vallejo WWII Desert British & German Armour & Infantry Paint Set contains six 17 ml Model Color acrylics selected for North African uniforms and vehicles, with a labelled painting diagram on the back of the box. The maker assigns colours separately to German Afrikakorps uniforms and 1942 or 1943 vehicles, and to British uniforms, webbing and vehicles. It is intended for painters covering both forces within one desert palette, alongside the separate Utility Paint Set named by Vallejo.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.

Can I use these paints in an airbrush?

Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.

Do I need a primer?

Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
