Vallejo Wild Tuft Dry Green SC415 provides 35 ready-to-place tufts at a height of 6mm. The Dry Green colour suits arid fields, scrubland and grass that has faded during a dry season without becoming completely brown. Use separate pieces around rocks and track edges, or group several to form uneven patches of established vegetation. Each tuft peels individually from the backing, with optional PVA glue providing a more permanent attachment.

What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?

That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.

Are tufts self-adhesive?

Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.

How do I apply static grass?

Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
