Stainless steel mixing balls in 316L grade, sized at 5.5 mm to fit the standard 17 ml dropper bottles from Vallejo, Scale75, Army Painter and AK Interactive. Drop one or two into a bottle and shake — the ball breaks up pigment that settles to the bottom and brings the paint back to an even consistency. 316L is alloyed with molybdenum for strong resistance to acids, solvents and salts in hobby paints, so it will not corrode inside the bottle. Steel is denser than glass, which means more energy per shake and faster mixing.

316L grade — acid-resistant, corrosion-resistant and safe for long-term contact with paint.
5.5 mm diameter fits 17 ml dropper bottles from most hobby paint brands.
Heavier than glass agitators, so they break up settled pigment more effectively.

Sprue cutters or a hobby knife — what do I actually need?

Cutters remove parts from the sprue cleanly; the knife trims the leftover nub and mould lines. You'll want both — they do different jobs.

What's the difference between single-blade and double-blade cutters?

Single-blade cutters shear against a flat anvil for an ultra-clean cut with less stress on the plastic; double-blade cutters are tougher for general work.

How do I keep tools in good condition?

Cut plastic only (never metal sprues or wire) with precision cutters, replace knife blades often, and keep files clear with a brass brush.
