Scale75 Inktensity Chestnut (SC-81) adds a warm, reddish-brown tint to a painted miniature surface through thin, transparent glazes. Formulated with concentrated pigment in a satin acrylic base, it modifies the underlying colour without masking shading or edge highlights already in place. Part of the Inktensity range of sixteen colours.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?
Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.
Do I need a primer?
Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
