Scale75 Inktense Yellow is a transparent acrylic ink for adding yellow glazes to painted miniatures and models. Its high pigment concentration strengthens or shifts the underlying colour while allowing existing shading and surface detail to remain visible. Unlike a conventional opaque acrylic paint used to establish a solid basecoat, this ink is intended for controlled, translucent layers. It dries with a satin finish and can be applied by brush or airbrush.

Supplied in a 17 ml dropper bottle.
Transparent, highly pigmented acrylic ink.
Suitable for brush and airbrush application.
Dilute with water for brushwork or thinner for airbrushing.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.

Can I use these paints in an airbrush?

Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.

Do I need a primer?

Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
