Scale75 SAR-001 Acrylic Retarder is a 60 ml additive for extending the working time of acrylic paint. It delays drying by about 15%, giving the painter longer to merge adjacent colours during wet blending and adjust transitions before the layer sets. The retarder can be mixed directly into the paint or applied to the intended surface before the colour layer. Its purpose is drying control rather than airbrush dilution.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
