Poppy Tiny Flowers set Papaver rhoeas red against wheat-field ground, in rolling bands of colour. The red carries hard work and sweat with it: blooms opening like red tears over the grain, and behind them the hope of a better dawn. Tufts of it go down on bases, on terrain and through a diorama.

One printed sheet sits in the blister, its tufts already coloured.
For steadier removal, peel the chosen piece away with tweezers.
PVA glue may be added where a tougher and more permanent fix is required.

What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?

That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.

Are tufts self-adhesive?

Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.

How do I apply static grass?

Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
