Product overview

Among the Sons of Thor, these shields belong to the most revered warriors of the Legion: the Praetorians, who guard its sanctum every day and night, year after year, under the Legion's emblem and ancient runes. Sons of Thor Praetorian Shields gives you five of them in one design, a round shield cut with four notches round the edge. At its centre sits a raised hammer set with a long gem, framed by runes, with knotwork bands along the top and bottom. The back is flat with a small fixture, so the shield can be glued to a forearm or a hand.

Five shields, one design
Hammer emblem, runes and knotwork
Resin, 28mm scale
Unpainted; arms not included

Notes · Q & A

What are resin bits and how do I prepare them?

Cast resin upgrade parts for customising miniatures. Wash in warm soapy water to remove mould-release residue, then attach with super glue.

Will these bits fit my miniatures?

They're designed for 28mm heroic-scale wargaming figures — check each listing's dimensions against your model.

How do I fill small gaps after converting?

A little modelling putty (Green Stuff or Milliput) pressed into the join, smoothed with a damp tool, disappears entirely under primer.
