Hero Bases let a finished miniature remain on its normal gaming base while gaining a separate raised platform for display. Nothing is glued permanently: lift the model off the extender for gameplay, then return it for cabinet or painting-competition presentation. This listing covers square and rectangular footprints in six heights, making it suited to ranked infantry, cavalry and other ordered units used in Kings of War, The 9th Age and historical mass-battle systems. The shorter tiers remain closer to the tabletop, while the taller tiers create a stronger plinth-style presentation for centrepiece models.
- Covers 78 variants: 13 footprint sizes supplied in six heights.
- Display Bases Style: Step 9 mm, Rise 16 mm and Ascend 22 mm.
- Plinth Style: Exalt 42 mm, Dominate 62 mm and Reign 82 mm.
- Square sizes: 20, 25, 30, 40, 50 and 100 mm. Rectangle sizes: 50x25, 60x30, 60x40, 75x50, 100x50, 100x60 and 150x100 mm.
- FDM 3D-printed to order in black PLA; every footprint and height has a technical drawing with exact measurements.
- A 3 mm magnet socket underneath is covered by a removable support so the extender sits flat. Removing the support allows a 3 mm disc magnet to be fitted for use with a metal transport tray.
- Fine layer lines and a seam are normal FDM characteristics, not defects, and become less visible under primer. The printed texture also helps primer and basing materials grip.

Can I add magnets underneath OBS bases?
Check the selected option's underside opening and available underside depth in Technical Specifications before choosing magnets. Magnet fit depends on the actual cavity dimensions and the magnet you plan to use, so it should not be assumed to be the same across every base.
