Product overview

Green Stuff World Paint Remover is a low-toxicity stripping solution that removes acrylic, enamel and lacquer paint from plastic, resin and metal miniatures without damaging the underlying material. Submerge the model for one to six hours depending on the paint type, then rinse with water and scrub the loosened paint off with a synthetic brush. The formula has very low evaporation and almost no odour, and can be reused several times before it loses effectiveness.

Notes · Q & A

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.

Can I use these paints in an airbrush?

Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.

Do I need a primer?

Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
