Product overview

Natural Earth Pigments Set No. 3 11283 shifts away from conventional brown earth tones towards vegetation, pale deposits and dark weathering. Nature Green and Wild Moss support mossy or overgrown effects, while Titanium White and Anthracite Black provide contrasting light and dark powders. All four are loose dry pigments rather than paints, suitable for altering miniature bases, terrain, vehicles and other scale-model surfaces.

Contains Nature Green 1769, Wild Moss 1770, Titanium White 1771 and Anthracite Black 1772.
Apply dry for loose dusting and surface variation.
Mix with Pigment Fixer or Mud Effect for wet application.
The pigments are non-toxic, but inhalation of the dry powder should be avoided.

Notes · Q & A

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.

Can I use these paints in an airbrush?

Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.

Do I need a primer?

Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
