Product overview

Martian Fluor Tufts from Green Stuff World bring bright neon grass to sci-fi, alien and magical bases and dioramas. Each sheet holds 75 tufts with 6 mm fibres, on a 7 × 14 cm backing. The ten colours of the Martian Botanics collection are extreme neon shades, strong in ordinary light, and they also react under ultraviolet light, so a UV torch makes them glow on the table. Use tweezers to take the tufts from the pack and press each one onto the base by its sticky foot; on some surfaces a small dab of glue makes the fix permanent.

  • 75 self-adhesive tufts per sheet
  • 6 mm fibre height
  • Ten neon colours, UV reactive
  • Pick the colour from the drop-down

Notes · Q & A

What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?

That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.

Are tufts self-adhesive?

Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.

How do I apply static grass?

Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
