Fire and drought are what Spikey Brown is coloured for: dried shrubs, close patches of scrub left after burning, and growth at the end of a very dry season. The dense brown sits on long, divided branches, so a single piece carries the whole shape of a burnt-out bush. About 70 differently shaped and sized pieces are supplied together on one printed sheet.

Each tuft is already coloured and can be removed singly.
For a tougher permanent attachment, a little PVA may be used.
Adding other tuft sizes and colours introduces stronger tonal diversity across a landscape.

What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?

That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.

Are tufts self-adhesive?

Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.

How do I apply static grass?

Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
