Dense Green is intended for rich, packed grasslands rather than dry ground. High prairies, pastures and salt marshes are its named settings, so the sheet has a clear role wherever close green growth needs to define the terrain. Several green colours contribute to the vegetation, avoiding a single uniform shade across those habitats.

Its tuft construction is both dense and ramified.
Shapes and dimensions differ among the supplied pieces.
The coloured tufts are grouped together on one printed sheet.
Mixing other sizes and colours introduces both height and colour diversity, as well as plant stratification.

What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?

That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.

Are tufts self-adhesive?

Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.

How do I apply static grass?

Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
