Gaahleri’s Voortex is an automatic bench shaker that uses high-speed spinning to form a mixing vortex inside a secured paint bottle. Its brushless motor reaches 3,500 rpm, with low, medium and high modes for different paint consistencies. A digital countdown and LED ring show the selected speed and remaining time, while the UK package is powered through the supplied USB power brick and 1.2 m cable.

What nozzle size do I need for miniatures?

0.3mm is the versatile all-rounder for base coats and priming; 0.2mm suits fine detail work. Larger nozzles (0.5mm) are for terrain and big surfaces.

Do I need a compressor with a tank?

A tank smooths the airflow and reduces pulsing, giving more consistent results — worth it if you spray regularly, but tankless compressors work fine for occasional use.

How do I keep an airbrush working well?

Flush with airbrush cleaner between colours and strip-clean after each session. Most spraying problems are cleaning problems.
