Product overview

The Gaahleri GT-918 from the Dual Drive Series is a tank compressor built for longer airbrushing sessions. A 1 litre air tank sits between the motor and your airbrush, so the air reaches the brush smoothly and evenly, which helps with fine, controlled work. The motor switches itself on at 43 psi and off again at 57 psi, so it only runs when the tank needs topping up. Two air outlets work independently: run two airbrushes at the same time, or share the compressor with someone else without swapping hoses. Each outlet has its own pressure regulator knob on top of the unit.

0.3mm is the versatile all-rounder for base coats and priming; 0.2mm suits fine detail work. Larger nozzles (0.5mm) are for terrain and big surfaces.

A tank smooths the airflow and reduces pulsing, giving more consistent results — worth it if you spray regularly, but tankless compressors work fine for occasional use.

How do I keep an airbrush working well?
