Product overview
Super White Apoxie 1 lb is the larger pack of the same bright white, firm, fine-grain compound, aimed at modellers who already know the material and need more for repeated sculpting, filling, bonding or restoration work. The crisp white body makes contours and small defects easier to read while shaping, and Aves rates its detail capability as exceptional. Its one-hour working window keeps the process focused, while the cured surface becomes hard, smooth and semi-gloss. The material can also be blended with regular Apoxie Sculpt colours when a custom shade is required.
This is the same Super White formulation as the smaller pack, supplied in a larger two-tub format.
The firm consistency and bright body are intended to support crisp, visible detail during shaping.
Fresh material can be smoothed with water or Aves Finishing Solution.
It accepts paint, stains, mica powders and other finishes after hardening.
Aves recommends gloves while combining the two components.

Notes · Q & A
What's the difference between Green Stuff and Milliput-type putties?+
Green Stuff is flexible and springy, holding fine sculpted detail like cloth and cabling. Milliput-type putties are harder-setting and sand smooth once cured, which makes them better for gap-filling and surfaces you want to blend flat. Many sculptors mix the two.
How do I stop epoxy putty sticking to my tools and fingers?+
Keep a little water on the tool and your fingertips as a release; the putty won't grab a wet surface. Work in good light and let very tacky putty firm up for a few minutes before shaping fine detail.
How do I get the mixing ratio right?+
Most epoxy putties cure at a 1:1 mix of the two parts by volume, kneaded until the colour is fully even with no streaks. Under-mixing leaves soft patches that never fully harden, so mix longer than feels necessary.
How do I fill a seam gap cleanly without losing nearby detail?+
Press a small amount of putty into the gap, then wipe the excess back with a wet tool or a cotton bud before it cures, leaving putty only in the recess. Cleaning up wet saves sanding over detail later.
