Outstanding pigments are central to AK670 Xtreme Metal Stainless Steel, a metallic lacquer developed specifically for modellers. They produce its stainless steel colour and metallic character within one lacquer formulation. AK formulates the range around them for a high sheen and ultra-high covering power, and specifies the dried colour to resist weathering, so the steel can stay on the model while the work around it continues.
The supplied quantity is 30 ml.
Masking over the dry colour is accounted for by AK.
Bare plastic takes the lacquer without being harmed.
It is quick to dry, and it goes on with no primer below.
Manufactured in Spain.

Notes · Q & A
What's the difference between a paint and a wash?+
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?+
Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.
Do I need a primer?+
Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
