Four 17 ml jars of AK Interactive 3rd Generation acrylics for painting WWII US pilot figures. Three of the four finish the uniform as a ladder from shadows to base to highlights — Extra Dark Green, Dark Olive Drab and Brownish Green — and the fourth is AK11388 Harness & Uniform Belts, the same cream harness tone as in the Luftwaffe box, the one bottle those two sets share. The fold-out label prints the shadow to base to light order. Matt finish, ready for the brush, and thinnable with water or AK11500 for airbrush use.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.

Can I use these paints in an airbrush?

Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.

Do I need a primer?

Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
