AK Interactive German Uniform Italian Pattern is a six-bottle set of 3rd Generation acrylics for the Italian-pattern camouflage uniform worn by Waffen-SS troops in the Second World War — a Figure series set, painted on figures rather than vehicles. Its structure is the point: the six paints form three pairs, one for each tone of the pattern — green patches, ochre patches and brown patches — with each pair giving a base colour and its lights. All six are also sold individually here, so the box is the pattern-complete option.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.

Can I use these paints in an airbrush?

Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.

Do I need a primer?

Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
