A six-jar 3rd Generation acrylic set from AK Interactive's Figure Series for the Waffen-SS pea-dot camouflage — the M-44 uniform AK calls DOT 44 (Erbsenmuster). The panel prints a ladder for the brown uniform base: DOT44 Brown Base Shadows (Grim Brown) under DOT44 Brown Base/Spots (Chocolate Brown), with DOT44 Brown Base/Lights (Cork) as the highlight. The other three jars supply the pattern itself — Light Green Dots, Light Brown Spots & Dots (Orange Tan) and Dark Spots & Dots (Dark Green) — called out on original M44 garments. AK notes the tones can be mixed further, as the shades could vary by origin. All six are matt acrylics in 17 ml bottles.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.

Can I use these paints in an airbrush?
