Four matt acrylics for the US Air Force's South East Asia scheme — the four-colour wraparound AK's own packaging names the Vietnam scheme. The colours are essential for aircraft used in the Southeast Asia theatre of operations in the 1960s-1970s by units subordinated to the USAF TAC (Tactical Air Command): types such as the A-1 Skyraider, A-7 Corsair II, F-4 Phantom II, F-105 Thunderchief and F-111 Aardvark, among many others.

- AK's full aircraft list: A-1 Skyraider, A-7 Corsair II, A-37 Dragonfly, B-57 Canberra, F-4 Phantom II, F-100 Super Sabre, F-102 Delta Dagger, F-104 Starfighter, F-105 Thunderchief, F-111 Aardvark, RF-101 Voodoo — "and others", as AK puts it

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?
Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.
Do I need a primer?
Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
