AK9547 extends the stainless steel measuring edge to 300 mm for long cuts, continuous panel lines and broader photo-etch work. Its length can span more of a hull or terrain section in one placement, reducing the need to reposition the edge midway through the job. Turn it over and the reverse serves as a reference face, with wider conversion coverage than the shorter version.

Sprue cutters or a hobby knife — what do I actually need?

Cutters remove parts from the sprue cleanly; the knife trims the leftover nub and mould lines. You'll want both — they do different jobs.
