A six-colour 3rd Generation acrylic set from AK Interactive's Figure Series for painting WWII Soviet Army uniforms on figures. The box panel prints two colour ladders: for the green uniform, Russian Uniform Shadow (Russian Green) sits under Russian Uniform Base with Russian Uniform Lights as the highlight; for the blue breeches, Russian Blue Base is paired with Russian Blue Lights. AK calls out the sixth colour, Matt Red, separately for collar tabs and flashes rather than as part of either ladder. All six are matt acrylics in 17 ml bottles, and the panel artwork features painted figures from Stalingrad and Alpine Miniatures.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.

Can I use these paints in an airbrush?

Do I need a primer?
