Sienna Soil is a dry weathering pigment for AFV and military modelling. The ultrafine powder gives you two straightforward working methods: brush it on loose for a matt effect, or prepare it wet before placing it. Dry use keeps the effect easy to adjust while you work, whereas fixing provides the hold that powder alone does not supply.
Turn it into a wet mix using Pigment Fixer; White Spirit works too.
The same materials can lock down a layer first applied dry.
Mix Sienna Soil with other colours from the powder range.
The screw-cap container holds 35 ml.

Notes · Q & A
What's the difference between a paint and a wash?+
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?+
Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.
Do I need a primer?+
Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
