AK Interactive Real Colors IDF AFV Colors contains three lacquer paints covering the principal finishes applied to Israel Defence Forces vehicles from the 1950s to the present. IDF Early Sand Yellow supports early IDF armour and Six Day War-era subjects. IDF Sand Grey 1970s-1980s represents the darker northern-front finish used after the 1973 war, while IDF Modern Grey covers the standard colour introduced in 1981. The set is intended for modellers working on early, transitional and contemporary IDF tanks and armoured vehicles.
- Set contains (3 × 17 ml): RC880 IDF Early Sand Yellow, RC881 IDF Sand Grey 1970s-1980s, RC882 IDF Modern Grey
- Lacquer-based Real Colors with a soft matt finish, ready for weathering

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?
Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.
Do I need a primer?
Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
