AK Interactive Real Colors German Afrika Korps Colors 1941-1943 contains six lacquer paints for German vehicles deployed in North Africa from early 1941 until May 1943. The selection covers the initial overall Dunkelgrau finish, the first tropical combination of Gelbbraun and Graugrün, and the later Braun and Grau scheme introduced in 1942. Elfenbein is included for the upper areas of enclosed armoured-vehicle interiors.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.

Can I use these paints in an airbrush?

Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.

Do I need a primer?

Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
