AK Interactive Modern Russian Colors Vol. II contains six water-based 3GEN acrylic colours that expand the first Modern Russian Colors set. AK describes it as camouflage colours for modern Russian AFVs, adding tones for further camouflage patterns and for the hard-edge schemes applied to many contemporary Russian vehicles — AK names the BMPT-72 Terminator, T-90MS and 2S19 Msta-S among them. These are separate camouflage colours rather than a fixed shadow-to-highlight modulation sequence.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
