AK Interactive Modern French Army Colors contains six 3GEN acrylic paints covering French Army vehicle finishes from the 1950s onwards. The box supports the earlier overall Vert IR OTAN finish, the Central Europe NATO three-colour scheme introduced in 1990, the Overseas Zone combination of Sable Désert IR and NATO Brown, and the Grey-Blue and Black finish used for OPFOR (FORAD) vehicles. It also contains the complete three-colour NATO set sold separately as AK11658. AK states the colours were prepared in cooperation with Model-Miniature.
- Set contains (6 × 17 ml): AK11358 NATO Green (Vert Foncé IR), AK11359 NATO Brown (Brun Terre IR), AK11360 NATO Black (Noir A603), AK11363 French Army Desert Sand (Sable Désert IR), AK11364 French Army Green (Vert IR OTAN), AK11365 French Army Grey-Blue (Gris/Bleu Moyen Clair A625)
- Four schemes in one box: overall green, Central Europe NATO three-colour, Overseas two-colour and OPFOR
- Includes the full NATO trio also sold on its own as AK11658
- All six colours are matt and non-metallic
- Acrylic colours for brush; for airbrush, dilute with water or AK11500 thinner

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?
Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.
Do I need a primer?
Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
