Product overview

AK9003 provides a 3 m air line for the AK9000 Basic Line 0.3 airbrush, giving the handpiece room to move away from the air supply. A 1/8-inch BSP female connector is fitted at each end, so the thread and gender are known before the hose is joined to a compressor outlet or an adaptor. This connection specification determines whether the rest of the setup matches.

The outer braided layer is nylon, and the hose is made to remain soft and durable.
Both ends use knurled nuts for tightening the connection.
It is one of the four spare parts sold separately for the AK9000 airbrush.

What nozzle size do I need for miniatures?

0.3mm is the versatile all-rounder for base coats and priming; 0.2mm suits fine detail work. Larger nozzles (0.5mm) are for terrain and big surfaces.

Do I need a compressor with a tank?

A tank smooths the airflow and reduces pulsing, giving more consistent results — worth it if you spray regularly, but tankless compressors work fine for occasional use.
