Product overview

AK8046 contains two fine-grained cork sheets, each measuring 200 × 300 mm and 1 mm thick. This thin format can be divided into small pieces for brickwork, paving, wall skins and other surface details, or cut into longer strips for kerbs and edging. AK’s guide demonstrates using the material for a brick façade, where individual pieces are arranged with narrow gaps before the surface is textured and finished.

What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?

That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.

Are tufts self-adhesive?

Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.

How do I apply static grass?

Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
