The PlayMarkers Special Box Set gathers all 34 colours of AK Interactive’s PlayMarkers range in one collector’s box — a rigid black case with a magnetic closure and two foam trays holding 17 markers each. Every marker is an acrylic paint pen with a brush tip, so you paint straight onto the model with no palette or thinning. The acrylic formula grips plastic, resin, metal and wood, and dries waterproof and resistant to handling and heat.

The range runs from AKM001 Gun Metal to AKM034 Brass, all 34 included here.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.

Can I use these paints in an airbrush?

Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.

Do I need a primer?

Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
