Abteilung 502 Titanium White / Snow White is an opaque artist oil used to enhance, mix and lighten other colours. AK Interactive positions it as a basic colour for modellers and artists, suitable for developing brighter mixtures and illuminated areas across a wide range of subjects. Its PW6 and PW5 pigment combination provides stronger coverage than the semi-opaque colours found elsewhere in the range. The reduced-oil ABT502 formula is designed to produce more matt finishes while retaining controlled working and blending properties.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?
Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.
Do I need a primer?
Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
