Abteilung 502 Paynes Grey is a dark blue-grey artist oil intended for several model-painting techniques. AK Interactive specifically recommends it for stippling, altering an existing base colour and creating effects on painted uniforms. Its PB29 and PBk11 pigment combination produces a cooler alternative to a neutral black or grey when modifying shadows and darker areas. The reduced-oil ABT502 formula is designed to give more matt finishes while preserving the control and gradual blending associated with artist oils.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?
