Abteilung 502 Olive Green is an artist oil for developing highlights, shadows and faded variation on olive-drab military vehicles and aircraft. AK Interactive also recommends it for green areas and uniforms on figures where additional luminosity is required. The colour can be combined with other oils and applied as glazes over acrylic-painted bases, allowing gradual tonal changes without replacing the underlying paint scheme. Its reduced-oil ABT502 formulation is designed to produce more matt finishes while retaining the extended blending properties of oil paint.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?

Do I need a primer?
