Two Gaahleri airbrushes share this needle chucking guide: the GHAD-68 (Advanced Series) and the GHAC-Swallowtail (Ace Series). Its task inside the body is to clamp the needle firmly and draw it back and forth whenever the trigger is worked, and that travel decides how much paint the nozzle lets through. How tightly it grips sets how finely the paint release can be tuned. Held without play, the needle stays straight while you spray and is spared strain, both in use and while the airbrush is apart for cleaning. Gaahleri's Mobius, GHAD-39 and GHAC-98D each take a guide of a different design.
