Product overview

Interior paint on an AFV used to defeat even experienced modellers, and this three-piece weathering set is AK Interactive's answer. A 17 ml 3GEN acrylic in White Grey lays down the base colour, and two 35 ml enamels — an interior wash and a streaking grime — weather it in, one for interior washes and one for streaking effects over interior surfaces in AK's own description. The box carries AK's "ALL ERAS" tagline alongside the AFV and 3G badges. All three items are stocked by us separately, so the first to run out is easy to replace.

Set contains: AK11003 White Grey (3GEN acrylic, 17 ml), AK093 Interior Wash (enamel, 35 ml) and AK094 Streaking Grime for interior (enamel, 35 ml)
The two enamels work as a pair on interior surfaces: a wash, then streaking effects over the top, per AK's description
White Grey is the interior colour of German Second World War vehicles and, per AK, also serves the interiors of many other AFVs
All three members are stocked by us separately

Notes · Q & A

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.

Can I use these paints in an airbrush?

Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.

Do I need a primer?

Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
