VALST-TX006 is the first of Vallejo's two 1/35 wood-texture airbrush stencils. Its pattern is designed to reproduce wood grain on model surfaces, providing a painted representation rather than a transfer or decal. This No. 1 variant identifies one of the two alternative grain layouts. The translucent, flexible plastic sheet measures 125 × 125 mm and can be washed after airbrushing for reuse.

Sprue cutters or a hobby knife — what do I actually need?

Cutters remove parts from the sprue cleanly; the knife trims the leftover nub and mould lines. You'll want both — they do different jobs.

What's the difference between single-blade and double-blade cutters?

Single-blade cutters shear against a flat anvil for an ultra-clean cut with less stress on the plastic; double-blade cutters are tougher for general work.

How do I keep tools in good condition?
