VALST-SF003 uses a distorted honeycomb pattern to produce an irregular hexagonal mesh on 1/35 sci-fi models, fantasy figures and constructed surfaces. The connected cell structure distinguishes it from SF002’s separate circular dots, giving this stencil a continuous geometric texture rather than isolated marks. Made from translucent, flexible plastic, the 125 × 125 mm sheet can be washed after airbrushing and reused.

Sprue cutters or a hobby knife — what do I actually need?

Cutters remove parts from the sprue cleanly; the knife trims the leftover nub and mould lines. You'll want both — they do different jobs.

What's the difference between single-blade and double-blade cutters?

Single-blade cutters shear against a flat anvil for an ultra-clean cut with less stress on the plastic; double-blade cutters are tougher for general work.

How do I keep tools in good condition?

Cut plastic only (never metal sprues or wire) with precision cutters, replace knife blades often, and keep files clear with a brass brush.
