Vallejo Metal Color Semi Matt Aluminium 77.716 is a subdued aluminium shade with a semi-matt finish and less reflection than brighter metallic colours in the range. This makes it suitable for scale-model surfaces where a restrained aluminium appearance is required. The 32 ml water-based paint contains aluminium pigments and is intended mainly for airbrushing, although it can also be used by brush for smaller components and controlled detail work.
- Can be airbrushed directly or diluted with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver.
- Recommended compressor pressure: 15–20 PSI.
- Suitable for application by airbrush or brush.
- Allow the layer to stand for 12 hours before masking.
- Hinged-cap eyedropper bottle includes a stainless steel stirring ball.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?
Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.
Do I need a primer?
Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
