Vallejo Wild Tuft Strong Green SC427 provides 17 self-adhesive Extra Large tufts, each measuring 12mm high. The Strong Green colouring suits lush vegetation, established grassland and dense growth around banks, rocks or damp terrain edges. This tall format gives individual tufts enough height to form prominent plants, while several pieces can be grouped into heavier overgrowth. Peel and place each tuft from the backing, using optional PVA glue for a stronger permanent bond.

What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?
That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.
Are tufts self-adhesive?
Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.
How do I apply static grass?
Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
