Vallejo Wild Tuft Beige SC403 supplies 35 ready-to-place grass tufts at 2mm height, classed in the Small size range. The warm straw-beige colour represents dried and dormant vegetation, fitting terrain set in deserts, arid steppes, harvested fields and late-summer landscapes. Each piece peels from the backing sheet and presses into position on contact, ready to fill gaps between rocks, line footpaths or break up bare earth on a miniature base.
- The Beige shade works well alongside sand-coloured groundwork and dry-earth textures.
- Optional PVA glue provides a firmer hold where the surface is rough or uneven.
- Intended for miniature figures, terrain boards, wargame bases and dioramas.

What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?
That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.
Are tufts self-adhesive?
Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.
How do I apply static grass?
Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
