Vallejo Wild Tuft Autumn SC423 contains 17 self-adhesive Extra Large tufts, each 12mm high. Their Autumn colouring suits autumn scenery, seasonal woodland and tall grass beside paths or ruined structures. The height creates an overgrown profile rather than the close-cut appearance of shorter tufts. Peel each piece from the backing and position it individually, grouping several where dense vegetation is required. PVA glue can be added for a stronger permanent bond.

What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?
That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.
Are tufts self-adhesive?
Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.
How do I apply static grass?
Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
