Vallejo Wild Moss SC404 is a pack of 35 peel-and-place moss pieces standing 2mm high in the Small tier. The bright natural-green Moss colour is designed for damp settings: forest floors, stream banks, shaded stonework and any terrain where moisture encourages low, dense growth. Each piece lifts from the backing and holds on contact, so it can be pressed into crevices, around the feet of trees or across flat areas to suggest a carpet of living moss.
- The vivid green works alongside darker tones, leaf litter and water-effect products.
- PVA glue reinforces the bond on uneven or heavily textured base surfaces.
- Suitable for scale models, miniature figures, diorama builds and terrain boards.

What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?
That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.
Are tufts self-adhesive?
Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.
How do I apply static grass?
Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
