Product overview

Tamiya's Leopard 2 A6 "Ukraine" builds the German main battle tank as a 1/35 plastic model with Ukrainian markings. The Leopard 2 was developed in West Germany in the 1970s and became the German army's main battle tank. The A6, in service from 2001, kept the A5's wedge-shaped turret armour and panoramic commander's sight and gained a 120 mm smoothbore gun over a metre longer, for higher muzzle velocity. In January 2023 Germany announced it would supply A6 tanks to Ukraine. The finished model is 314 mm long and 107 mm wide; the turret turns and the gun elevates, and the decals include white crosses and Ukrainian flags.

  • Long 120 mm gun and wedge turret armour
  • Clear headlights and tail lights
  • Belt tracks that glue and paint
  • 1/35 plastic kit, unpainted
