Scale75 ScaleColor Artist Empire of the Sun SSAR-004 concentrates six yellow and ochre acrylics into a palette for warm miniature effects. Its progression covers a primary yellow, lighter yellow tones, ochre and Raw Sienna, allowing highlights, mid-tones and deeper warm shadows to be mixed from one set. The thick, creamy Artist formulation is supplied in 20 ml metal tubes for controlled brush application and blending, while remaining suitable for airbrush use.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.

Can I use these paints in an airbrush?
