Product overview

Liquid Reamer is Premi Air's aerosol for the thorough clean once a painting session is over, made for airbrushes that have been spraying solvent-based or oil-based paint. Fit the straw and aim the spray at the nozzle and the front end, down into the cup of a gravity-feed airbrush, or up into the fitting where the bottle attaches on a bottom-feed model. It softens and dissolves hardened paint deposits, which you then flush out with your usual thinner or cleaner.

  • 150ml CFC-free aerosol with a straw for directed spraying
  • Contains xylene and acetone
  • Keep it off skin and out of eyes, do not breathe the vapour, and keep it away from sources of ignition
  • Suits most makes of airbrush and spray gun

Notes · Q & A

What nozzle size do I need for miniatures?

0.3mm is the versatile all-rounder for base coats and priming; 0.2mm suits fine detail work. Larger nozzles (0.5mm) are for terrain and big surfaces.

Do I need a compressor with a tank?

A tank smooths the airflow and reduces pulsing, giving more consistent results — worth it if you spray regularly, but tankless compressors work fine for occasional use.

How do I keep an airbrush working well?

Flush with airbrush cleaner between colours and strip-clean after each session. Most spraying problems are cleaning problems.
